The Citizen Commonshare of the Commonwealth

Commonwealth Commonshare

"A guaranteed annual income is not a privilege. It should be a right to which every American is entitled. No country as affluent as ours can allow any citizen or his family not to have an adequate diet, not to have adequate housing, not to have adequate health services and not to have adequate educational opportunity — in short, not to be able to have a life with dignity."

Tools of economic activity.

If you want to know why Poverty creates chains for the Worker  must first learn who exercises the power to create [not earn] money Who profits from it the most?

It is an important piece of the Power structure that allows the Oligarch of Wealth to keep the Middle Class & Poor bound in the chains of Wage Slavery by the use of debt.

When a Borrower give a Bank a Promissory Note the Bank creates a Money Account from nothing for the Borrower to spend.  The Debtors create Lien on their future earnings and Bankers keep the profit from the interest charges on the Money created for them.  The Wage-Slave spends his future to secure his present needs and wants.

Taxes are only an Accounting tool.

Taxes should support economic grow

Taxes would be more effective in controlling inflation if they were increased or decreased in ratio to employment levels, productive capacity, and cost of input raw materials. When there is  high unemployment & excess productive capacity there should be low taxes on the Middle-class. When there is low unemployment and stressed productive capacity, taxes should be increased

Taxes should never be used to maintain a Budget surplus.  They should only be used to create a stable productive economy by maintaining a stable consumption of Goods & Service. There should be a slight bias toward steadily increasing money supply to  accommodate steady economic growth.

Money is a government function

The issue of money is a function of the government

"We say in our platform that we believe that the right to coin money and issue money is a function of government…Those who are opposed to the proposition tell us that the issue of paper money is a function of the bank and that the government ought to go out of the banking business. I stand with Jefferson...and tell them, as he did, that the issue of money is a function of the government and that the banks should go out of the governing business... When we have restored the money of the Constitution, all other necessary reforms will be possible, and ... until that is done, there is no reform that can be accomplished."

Financing Basic Income Gurantee

No interest Debt
No Interest Debt

The simplest way to finance a "Basic Income Guarantee" is to levy a flat FICA tax on all income (excluding Basic income ] on both employer and employee. The tax is necessary only to balance the money circulating in the economy to the amount of available skill labor, productive capacity, and raw material. This helps control inflation when the ability to produce goods & service becomes stressed by scarcity of inputs.

The rest of the cost can just be added to the federal debt. That could be financed by the Federal Reserve System with 100 year Bonds at 1% interest. Then the Bonds can be retired from existence with no need for refinancing when they reaches maturity.

End Wage-Slavery

Break the chain of wage slavery

The most efficient way to eliminate Poverty & Wage-Slaves is to give every adult citizen an income above the Poverty level. It must apply to everyone with no income test. It must eliminate the "BUREAU FOR BEGGING".

Distributing Income will put a foundation under the Production of Goods & Service. It is not meant to make everyone wealthy.  It is just enough to  buy sufficient food, adequate shelter, effective medical care, and affordable education to teach life skills.
All people will then experience the true Freedom of choosing their own path to the pursuit of Achievement.

I am not opposed to the benefit of efficiency & innovation of Free Market Capitalism. I am opposed to Monopoly that leads to greed & & corruption . I am opposed to Poverty because it is the root of Wage-slavery that transfers wealth from the Middle Class to the 1%ers.

Economic Distribution System

Sucess is rarely the result of hard work

Not every one can learn a skill that will get them a job that earns wages above the poverty level. . Even a superficial examination of history makes it clear Poverty cannot be eliminated with charity . The problem is one of distributing food, housing, medical care and skill training and the problem is systemic .

For the Poor to experience the Liberty of saying no the owners of Capital that offer only a Slave-wage to obtain the labor, they must have the assurance of a Basic Income Guarantee that always puts food on the table and shelter to protect them from the elements and effective medical care without any qualifying conditions
Our Capitalist System uses money to distribute Goods and acquire Labor to produce Goods & Service. If you distribute money to the primary point of the sale of food, shelter, medical care, and education, the money will flow into the economy and create maximum growth of production of Goods & Service.. If you use
a Flat tax system to remove excess money from the economy to prevent inflation, the system can be moderated at the fulcrum of supply & demand.
